Springboard Leadership Development Programs

While traditional corporate leadership programs focus on grooming the ‘top of the house,’ Springboard offers a different approach. We believe that leadership training for women, people of color, and in fact, all employees should begin as early as possible. Too often, individuals, particularly from under-represented groups are sidelined early in their careers because of inadequate or non-existent leadership development in entry-level training programs.

Springboard is not only built on the premise that leadership skills are taught, not inherited, but also that leadership education should be practical and experience-based. That is why each Springboard program is carefully designed to address the specific leadership skill sets necessary at each stage of the life and career cycle. The Springboard Leadership Development Program Series covers the entire professional lifecycle, beginning with the all-important college years, through entry level, mid-level and senior level management.

PowerPrep
A 1-day workshop for college and university students designed to drill down on the key elements of leadership. The focus is on developing skills and techniques for effective navigation of corporate and organizational cultures and successful transition from the college environment to the world of work. Modules include: Leadership Life Line – Asking for and Receiving Feedback – Dressing for Success from the Inside Out – The Importance of and Techniques for Effective Networking. Ideal for integration into summer intern training programs.

PowerPlay
A 1 or 2-day workshop that engages new entrants to the workplace in meaningful dialogue with one another about the important elements of leadership. This workshop addresses skills and techniques for maximum impact and positive influence through effective communication, increased self-awareness, political savvy, early risk-taking and networking that leads to strong mentoring relationships. Accelerate
A 3-day program designed to put leadership skills into high gear in complex global organizations. Specifically developed for high-potential women who are being positioned, or would like to be positioned, to assume increased management responsibility. Focus is on understanding personal leadership style and its impact on creating and managing high performance teams. Modules include: Leadership Style Inventory – The Strategic use of the Feedback Loop – Managing Conflict – The Role of Women as Advocates and Allies – Strategies for Developing and Sustaining Effective Mentoring Relationships.

FastStart
A turnkey product that provides a roadmap to introduce new leaders into fast-paced, complex organizations as well a build a foundation for their future success. This program includes an extensive use of the ‘business school case’ methodology.

BreakThrough
A customized executive seminar for high-potential performers who are specifically identified as candidates for senior management roles. Individual pre-work will identify an individual's executive leadership strengths as well as blind spots.
